Tips for Metered Parking (Mobile Payments):
- Ensure the vehicle license plate is entered correctly before submitting payment.
- User error will not void a parking ticket.
- Only enter the LARGE letters/numbers (typically 6-or 7 letters/numbers) on the license plate.
- Payment confirmation will display the valid payment window (time duration that parking was paid for).
- The meter will NOT display any time on it.
- Payments are good for a zone, not a stall – customers may move their car from stall to stall within a zone during an active session.
- Switching zones will require a new payment/session.
- When using the HotSpot Parking app for payment, you may “buy back” unused time.
