BENEFITS
Health Insurance | The City offers eligible employees an affordable high deductible medical insurance plan for you and your family. Additionally, dental plans are also available for you and your family.
Pension | The City of Sheboygan participates in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), and the City matches employee contributions (minimum requirement do apply). Employees may also choose to participate in two 457(b) plans (deferred compensation), and may enroll at any time during employment with the City.
Compensation | The City of Sheboygan strives to pay competitive wages. All permanent part-time and full-time employees receive a competitive wage and longevity. Union employees follow bargained wages in the labor agreement. Non-rep employees are compensated according to the City’s compensation program. Promotional opportunities are offered to current employees first.
Paid Time Off | The City offers a generous leave package for eligible part-time and full-time employees including PTO, paid holidays and paid leave, which gives employees the opportunity to enhance their quality of life outside of work (minimum requirements do apply).
Training | The City offers paid training including paid Entry-Level Driver Training (CDL) in accordance with the FMCSA. This includes paid testing and reimbursement for learner’s permit.
Bus Pass | Employees and their family may enjoy free, unlimited trips on board Shoreline Metro’s public transit service.
